About the role
RWE Generation UK is offering a full-time, fixed-term industrial placement (13 months) in its Gas Asset Management group, starting on 28 June 2027. The role focuses on commercial, performance and testing work across gas-fired power stations in the UK and potentially the European Union. Responsibilities include hands-on plant performance testing, collecting and validating operational and test data, supporting contractual tests and acceptance activities, analysing results, and developing thermodynamic models. Candidates should ideally be studying an engineering degree, preferably Mechanical or Chemical/Process, and have strong analytical skills and an interest in thermodynamics and the energy industry. The role includes training, workshops, and exposure to different disciplines within Asset Management.
