An established organisation in the energy and commodities sector is seeking a Bunker Trader to join its team in Singapore. The role focuses on back-to-back bunker trading, managing customer and supplier transactions, developing business relationships, and ensuring trades are executed efficiently with commercial discipline. Responsibilities include executing back-to-back bunker trades, sourcing and negotiating bunker supply arrangements, developing relationships with customers and suppliers, identifying trading opportunities, coordinating transaction execution and documentation, monitoring market movements and pricing, negotiating contracts, managing trade documentation, monitoring outstanding trades, maintaining trading records, and supporting business development initiatives. Requirements include a diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, relevant bunker trading experience, good understanding of marine fuels and bunker pricing, established industry relationships as an advantage, strong commercial acumen, numerical and analytical skills, effective communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced trading environment.
