An established international shipping company is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager for a senior shore-based role in Cyprus. The position involves overseeing the technical management of a tanker fleet, leading technical personnel, supporting vessel performance, and maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, reliability, and operational performance. Responsibilities include managing maintenance, budgets, dry-docking programmes, major repairs, inspections, audits, vetting requirements, incident investigations, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should have prior Fleet Manager experience within a shipowner or ship management company, strong tanker experience, a senior engineering background preferably including Chief Engineer sailing experience, and substantial shore-based technical management experience. Strong knowledge of dry-docking, budgeting, planned maintenance, regulatory compliance, ISM, class, flag-state, and tanker industry requirements is required, along with leadership and stakeholder-management skills. The role requires the ability to manage multiple technical priorities and the right to live and work in Cyprus or the ability to relocate.
