About the role
Crewing Coordinator for a global shipping company based in Liverpool. Responsible for planning, coordination, and administration of crew assignments across the fleet, ensuring vessels are staffed with qualified and medically fit personnel in compliance with maritime regulations, company procedures, and client requirements. Works with Masters, Marine Operations, HR, and payroll to support operational continuity, crew welfare, and crew logistics. Duties include coordinating crew rotations, maintaining schedules and relief requirements, keeping records of qualifications and training, supporting compliance with MCA and STCW requirements, assisting with seafarer recruitment, arranging pre-employment checks and medical examinations, and organizing travel, accommodation, and transport for crew. Requires experience in crewing, marine operations, or maritime administration, knowledge of UK maritime legislation, STCW and MCA certification, and strong administrative and planning skills. Role is fully office based in Liverpool.
