About the role
RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Year in Industry placement starting in July 2027, based in Swindon with a hybrid working model. The role is within RWE Offshore Wind’s HSSE function, focused on Technical Safety Engineering. Responsibilities include supporting offshore wind farm operations, risk management, asset performance, incident investigations, technical risk assessments, reporting, safe systems of work, procedures, and audits. Candidates should be studying Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering and be eligible for a year-in-industry placement. Strong communication, independent workload coordination, teamwork, and willingness to travel are required. A minimum of five years’ residence in the UK is needed due to potential National Security Vetting. Training includes a Global Wind Organisation certificate, Wind Turbine Safety Rules training, and in-house technical training.
