About the role
Senior Naval Architect required for a growing marine engineering and vessel design consultancy working across defence, commercial, workboat, offshore and specialist vessel projects. The role involves leading naval architecture activities, developing and reviewing vessel designs, carrying out stability, weight, hydrodynamic, performance and seakeeping analysis, producing technical calculations and reports, supporting modifications and refits, liaising with clients and suppliers, guiding junior engineers, and contributing to bids and technical proposals. Candidates should have a relevant degree, around 8 years of experience, strong knowledge of vessel design and marine regulations, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Experience with Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or ANSYS would be advantageous.
