About the role
A leading cruise client is seeking a Paramedic to provide emergency and routine medical care to passengers and crew aboard. Duties include triage, on-scene stabilization, patient transport, clinic support, medication administration, patient records management, equipment checks, diagnostics support, pharmacy inventory control, infection control, public health compliance, crew training, emergency drills, billing accuracy, budget monitoring, and customer service with cultural sensitivity. Requirements include an Advanced Life Support-level Paramedic qualification, current professional registration, at least 3 years of recent clinical experience in EMS, remote, or emergency care settings, valid ALS/ACLS certification, PALS certification within the first year onboard, fluent English, computer literacy, and eligibility for a C1/D Visa for non-U.S./Canadian citizens. The contract is 4 months onboard followed by 2 months off, with on-call rotations for 24/7 emergency coverage and attendance at drills, inspections, and training. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and work in changing indoor and outdoor environments.
