About the role
For a DP2 research vessel, a 3rd Engineer is sought. The role includes engine room watchkeeping, operation of engines and technical installations according to procedures, maintaining records and reports, and performing maintenance and repair work onboard. The engineer reports to the Chief Engineer, works closely with the 2nd Engineer, and may also be assigned to DP or deck watch during projects. Crew handovers must be completed accurately and fully, and all work must comply with company policy and cybersecurity requirements. Start date: 2026-07-04. Rotation: 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off. Project duration: at least 1 year.
