About the role
A well-established shipping organisation is growing its Busan office and seeking a Technical Superintendent to take ownership of a dry bulk fleet segment. Responsibilities include technical and operational oversight of allocated dry bulk tonnage, dry-docking and repair planning, certification and compliance, budget control, manning levels, crew support on technical matters, and maintaining strong safety and environmental standards onboard. Requirements include a Chief Engineer's licence with at least 2 years in rank and/or prior relevant experience as a Technical Superintendent with dry bulk vessels, solid practical knowledge of dry bulk tonnage, confidence managing budgets and owner relationships, and fluent English/Korean language capability. The position is open only to Korean nationals.
