About the role
An established IG P&I Club is seeking a Loss Prevention Executive to support risk management and claims reduction across its regional portfolio. Responsibilities include providing technical and operational advice to shipowner members and internal teams, advising on vessel condition surveys and operational risks, supporting Claims and Underwriting teams, leading loss prevention projects, delivering training and presentations, building relationships with members and maritime stakeholders, producing safety articles and guidance, and travelling regionally as required. Requirements include COC 1, senior deck or engine experience, relevant shore-based experience in ship management or marine surveying, strong knowledge of vessel operations, safety and risk management, strong stakeholder and presentation skills, autonomy, willingness to travel, and good MS Office 365 skills.
