About the role
Permanent Refrigeration Engineer role on a cruise vessel fleet, responsible for operation and maintenance of vessel refrigeration systems. Duties include maintaining air conditioning machinery and related plant, carrying out regular operational checks, testing alarms, repairing equipment, performing daily rounds in fan rooms, galley, pantry, provision areas and engine room, reporting regularly, and monitoring spare parts and consumables. Previous shipboard experience as an HVAC Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Ventilation Officer is preferred, ideally on passenger ships. English language proficiency required. Fgas/EPA certification and STCW Basic Training required.
