Faststream Recruitment is seeking a Marine Superintendent for an infrastructure asset management team in Antwerp. The role supports the safe, compliant and efficient operation of specialist marine assets, with involvement in new infrastructure projects from a Marine, Labour and HSEQ perspective. Responsibilities include implementing Safety Management System requirements, international regulations, national legislation and industry standards ashore and onboard; supporting inspections, audits, certifications and terminal acceptance processes; providing HSEQ guidance and operational direction; coordinating follow-up on observations and deficiencies; and contributing to risk management, incident investigations, emergency preparedness and continuous improvement. The candidate should hold a Master's degree in Nautical Sciences or equivalent maritime qualification, have STCW Management Level certification, at least 3 years of management experience onboard, strong cargo operations knowledge, understanding of IMO regulations and relevant industry standards, and practical knowledge of mooring operations and weather forecasting. The role requires the right to live and work in Belgium or the wider EU and fluency in written and spoken English.
