About the role
Marine Superintendent (Offshore Vessels) based in Aberdeen on a permanent basis. The role involves overseeing the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of an assigned fleet of offshore support vessels, including PSVs, OSVs, and ERRVs. Responsibilities include day-to-day marine operations, vessel performance monitoring, operational support to Masters and senior officers, review of passage plans and risk assessments, budget support, and compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISM, ISPS, MLC, Flag State, and Port State requirements. Requirements include Master Mariner (Unlimited Certificate of Competency) or equivalent, extensive seagoing experience as Master or Chief Officer on offshore support vessels, knowledge of offshore vessel operations, international maritime legislation, ISM Lead Auditor qualification, and experience conducting vessel inspections and audits. DP certification is desirable. Right to work in the UK is required.
