Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a global shipping company seeking a Senior Executive to join its fleet performance control team. The role involves consolidating, analyzing, and reporting fuel consumption data to identify trends and improvement opportunities; supporting fuel-saving and decarbonization initiatives; conducting vessel performance analysis; researching vendors, technologies, and solutions for vessel modifications and efficiency enhancements; monitoring energy-saving devices; performing condition checks of diesel generators and boilers; and supporting additional projects and initiatives. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline, 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Marine Engineer onboard vessels or in fleet performance monitoring within the container shipping industry, and strong knowledge of marine engineering principles, vessel performance metrics, fuel efficiency, and fuel optimization strategies.
