Faststream Recruitment is partnering with a leading international cruise operator to recruit an experienced Hotel Director for its award-winning fleet. This opportunity is for an experienced hospitality leader focused on exceptional guest experiences, team leadership, and operational excellence in a luxury environment. Reporting to the Captain, the role has overall responsibility for the onboard hotel operation, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction, service delivery, financial performance, and team engagement across all hotel departments. Working closely with senior shipboard management, you will lead a large multicultural team while maintaining a seamless guest experience. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership across all hotel departments onboard, guest satisfaction, team coaching and development, budgeting and cost control, compliance with company policies and health and safety standards, collaboration with shipboard leadership, and monitoring operational performance for continuous improvement. Requirements include previous experience as a Hotel Director within the luxury cruise industry, proven leadership of large hotel operations in a luxury hospitality environment, strong financial acumen, exceptional guest service and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, experience leading multicultural teams, fluent English, and valid seagoing documentation or willingness to obtain. The position offers an industry-leading competitive salary, a 4 months on board / 2 months off rotation, and career progression within a premium fleet.
