The role focuses on developing cargo and vessel opportunities while managing chartering activity across the dry bulk market. Key responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating cargoes and vessels across the dry bulk market, managing voyage and time charter fixtures from negotiation through execution, building and maintaining relationships with charterers, shipowners and brokers, monitoring freight markets, identifying commercial opportunities, and collaborating with operations and post-fixture teams to ensure smooth execution. Requirements include proven experience in dry bulk chartering, a strong network within the dry bulk market, commercial drive, strong negotiation skills, and an operations background earlier in the career being an advantage. Candidates should be based in Singapore or open to relocating there.
