The Barge Operator supports the safe transport, positioning, and immersion of tunnel elements for the Fehmarnbelt project aboard IVY immersion pontoons. Responsibilities include operating ballast, mooring, and winch systems; assisting with marine logistics and deck operations; maintaining vessel records; and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures. The role also involves coordinating supply vessel movements, supporting anchor handling activities, supervising deck maintenance and housekeeping, and providing basic first aid when required. The position is part of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link Project and requires experience in offshore marine construction, dredging, heavy lift, or maritime operations. Valid STCW Basic Safety Training, a Seafarer Medical Certificate, and First Aid certification or equivalent are required.
