About the role
Deck Rating (AB) and Officer of the Watch (OOW) positions are required for an upcoming Jack-Up Unit mobilisation project in China. Positions include Deck Rating (II/4) / Able Seaman and Officer of the Watch (OOW II/1). The assignment is expected to begin around 22 October 2026, with an estimated duration in China of about one week. Requirements include valid CoC and relevant STCW certification for rank, valid Cyprus Endorsement, Cyprus GMDSS Endorsement where applicable, BOSIET/FOET (OPITO), and a valid OEUK Offshore Medical. European nationals only due to visa requirements. Previous Jack-Up Unit experience is advantageous. Deck Rating duties include navigational watchkeeping, helmsman and lookout duties, mooring, and general deck operations. Officer of the Watch duties include bridge watchkeeping, navigational duties, radar and ECDIS experience, and vessel operations experience.
