A major oil and gas client is seeking a Sr Project Analyst for a short-term contract. The role involves monthly internal and external reporting, financial analysis, project profitability and margin analysis, month-end close support, accounting adjustments, bid and proposal reviews, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, SOX compliance, financial policy implementation, asset management, working capital support, process improvement, tax reporting support, and collaboration across finance, operations, and project management teams. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 6 to 10 years of accounting and/or finance experience; strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting knowledge; understanding of cost and project accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements; advanced Excel skills; and experience with enterprise financial systems.
