The role involves leading the delivery of vessel dry dockings, refits and major repair periods, developing docking specifications and work scopes, acting as the company's technical representative, and managing contractors, shipyards and service providers to ensure safe, high-quality delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring workmanship and compliance, coordinating class surveys and statutory inspections, reviewing technical findings and scope changes, signing off completed works, and supporting fleet modifications and engineering improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in vessel maintenance, dry docking, refits or shipyard project delivery, with strong knowledge of class, flag state and statutory requirements, project management, quality assurance, planned maintenance and maritime regulatory compliance.
