About the role
Join an Offshore Support Vessel operating in Qatar as a 3rd Engineer, supporting the safe operation and maintenance of critical engine room systems. Responsibilities include engine room rounds, inspections, planned maintenance, defect reporting, troubleshooting support, and maintaining reliable operation of engines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment. The role also involves carrying out maintenance in line with company and manufacturer procedures, maintaining strong housekeeping and safety standards, monitoring fuel, lubrication, and cooling systems, and supporting DP maintenance activities. Required qualifications include A-III/2 Certificate of Competency, DP Maintenance Certificate (Engine Room), BOSIET, H2S, and ERM. Preferred experience includes 12 months effective sailing time onboard CSV, DSV, or MPSV vessels, 2 months effective sailing time onboard DP2 KPOS vessels, and NOC approved status.
