RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Year in Industry placement in Operations Engineering at Sofia Offshore Windfarm in Grimsby, starting in July 2027 and based on site. The role involves gaining practical insight into offshore wind turbine operations, supporting routine and statutory campaigns, helping close out warranty defects, assisting with life-extension and major component studies, and contributing to the day-to-day activities of an offshore wind farm. Applicants should be studying Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related combined engineering discipline, and have strong communication, coordination, teamwork, and deadline management skills. Eligibility for a Year in Industry placement is required, along with at least five years’ residence in the UK for potential National Security Vetting. Training includes a Global Wind Organisation certificate, Wind Turbine Safety Rules training, and in-house technical training.
