About the role
Faststream Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Hotel Director on behalf of a prestigious ultra-luxury ocean cruise operator. The role involves overseeing the onboard hotel operation and leading the Hotel Department to deliver exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. Reporting to the Captain, the successful candidate will manage hotel departments, mentor the Hotel Management team, drive guest satisfaction, manage budgets and cost control, ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards, and collaborate with senior shipboard leadership. Requirements include previous experience as a Hotel Director onboard a luxury cruise ship or within an ultra-luxury hotel, strong luxury hospitality and guest service experience, proven large-scale hotel operations management, financial acumen, leadership of multicultural teams, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and fluent English with valid seagoing documentation or willingness to obtain. The position offers an industry-leading competitive salary and a 4 months onboard / 2 months off rotation.
