About the role
Faststream Recruitment is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join a prestigious ultra-luxury ocean-going cruise line. The role is responsible for the overall culinary operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene across all galley outlets onboard. Key responsibilities include leading and managing a multinational galley team, delivering high-end cuisine across multiple outlets, maintaining compliance with USPH and HACCP standards, collaborating with onboard departments, and overseeing ordering, inventory control, and cost management. Requirements include extensive experience as an Executive Chef on a premium or luxury cruise line or shore-based establishment, proven ability to manage large teams in a high-volume fine-dining environment, strong understanding of USPH and food safety standards, and excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. The contract offers a 4 months on / 2 months off rotation and a salary of $11,000 per month worked onboard.
