Experience in procurement quality for mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, piping, and instruments. Qualification: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Certification: Certified Registered IRCA Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 Experience required: 06-10 years of experience with Oil & Gas construction projects, EPC, chemical, and petrochemical projects Fixed term contract duration: 24 months or until project requirement Work location: Abu Dhabi Job description: Strong knowledge of applicable international codes and standards, including ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO. Strong experience in procurement quality for mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, piping, and instruments. Strong knowledge of technical requirements for engineering deliverables, technical clarification, MR/PR/TQ/TBEs, and vendor technical offers. Well versed with quality assurance functions of EPC construction projects. Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the organization's Quality Management System in accordance with ISO standards and client requirements. Establish procedures, processes, and controls to maintain and improve organizational performance. Monitor quality system effectiveness and recommend continual improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and project-specific quality requirements. Develop and manage the annual internal audit program. Lead and conduct internal audits across departments, branches, and projects. Identify non-conformities, root causes, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities. Manage and coordinate second-party and third-party audits, including certification audits. Monitor audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Plan and conduct supplier and subcontractor audits. Evaluate supplier compliance with company standards, client specifications, and contractual requirements. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement actions where necessary. Support supplier qualification and approval processes. Ensure implementation of Project Quality Plans (PQP) across EPC projects. Review engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning quality requirements. Monitor inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with project specifications. Coordinate with project management teams to resolve quality-related issues. Ensure compliance with client standards, international codes, and regulatory requirements. Investigate quality issues and non-conformances.
