About the role
RWE Generation UK is offering a full-time, fixed-term 13-month industrial placement in its Rotating Equipment team, starting on 28 June 2027. The role supports gas-fired power stations across Europe and involves technical engineering strategy, performance and risk management for gas turbines and steam turbines. Based in Swindon, Didcot, or Little Barford, with opportunities to support other sites remotely, the placement includes working alongside Mechanical Engineers, data analysis, problem diagnosis, site experience, and training. Applicants should ideally be studying BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering at undergraduate level, or a similar Engineering, Maths, or Science discipline, and a driving licence is preferred.
