Mechanical Engineering Placement Programme - Rotating Equipment at RWE Generation UK. Full-time, fixed-term industrial placement starting 28 June 2027 for 13 months, based in Swindon, Didcot, or Little Barford, UK. The role supports RWE’s gas-fired power stations across Europe and focuses on rotating equipment engineering strategy, performance, and risk management for gas turbines and steam turbines. Responsibilities include working with mechanical engineers to solve engineering problems, analyzing data to diagnose issues, supporting long- and short-term projects, gaining on-site practical experience, and participating in training and development. Some travel between RWE sites may be required. Applicants should ideally be studying BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering, or a similar engineering, maths, or science discipline, with an interest in the energy industry and a preferred valid driving licence.
