Faststream Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Assistant General Manager on behalf of a prestigious ultra-luxury ocean cruise operator. The role supports the Hotel General Manager in overseeing onboard hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and high standards of luxury hospitality across all departments. Responsibilities include daily hotel operations, leadership across F&B, Housekeeping, Guest Services and other hotel departments, budget and cost control, team development, compliance with company policies and public health and safety standards, and deputising for the Hotel General Manager when required. Requirements include previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Hotel Director or F&B Director onboard an ultra-luxury cruise ship, with wider hotel operations exposure, proven leadership of large multicultural teams, strong financial acumen, operational management skills, exceptional guest service, communication and problem-solving abilities, and fluent English with valid seagoing documentation or willingness to obtain. The position offers a salary of $8,500 per month worked on board, a benefits package, a 4 months on board and 2 months off rotation, and long-term career development opportunities.
