About the role
Civil Engineer for a major offshore wind farm in the UK. Responsibilities include supporting civil engineering delivery across assigned transmission projects, providing technical input into civil engineering scopes, specifications and project requirements, reviewing drawings, specifications, calculations, reports and contractor deliverables, collaborating with project teams, contractors, consultants, supply chain partners and operational stakeholders, and contributing to design risk assessments, risk registers, HAZID, HAZOP and other project assurance activities. Requirements include a good understanding of civil engineering delivery within major infrastructure, utilities or transmission projects, a degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline, strong experience delivering civil engineering projects ideally within utilities and substations, and strong technical judgement and problem-solving skills.
