About the role
Chief Officer required to join a pipelay barge in the Caspian Sea. Position: Chief Officer (Chief Mate). Vessel type: Pipelay barge. Joining: Immediate/ASAP. Contract duration: Long term, 35/35 rotations. Requirements: 3+ years’ experience as Chief Mate onboard an offshore pipelay vessel with an 8-point mooring system; ability to supervise and coordinate deployment, operation, and maintenance of the vessel’s 8-point spread mooring system; experience managing and directing Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels during anchor deployment, retrieval, and shifting operations; ability to supervise and coordinate local marine personnel; Caspian Sea experience preferred; Ukraine and/or Russian language preferred. Required certifications include Chief Mate COC, DPO, STCW short courses, and BOSIET/offshore certificates.
