Drilling Engineer permanent full-time role supporting an established national organisation overseeing the safety and regulatory framework of Greece's offshore energy sector. The position sits within the Offshore Safety Authority and focuses on assessment of major hazard reports, compliance monitoring under Greek Offshore Safety Law, inspections, investigations, enforcement actions, and monitoring of offshore drilling and production operations. Responsibilities include evaluating daily drilling reports, reviewing operator documents, organizing and participating in inspections, conducting assessments and inspection reports, monitoring installation certification, supporting field inspections, and contributing technical guidance documents. The role works with state authorities and internal teams including Environmental, Geoscience, Legal, and Finance. Requirements include an engineering degree or related field, a master's in Petroleum Engineering, Process Safety, or Oil and Gas Production, 7 years' offshore oil and gas experience, at least 4 years' offshore field experience, industrial inspection experience, technical knowledge of offshore hydrocarbon well drilling and production facilities, knowledge of well design software such as Landmark or Petrel, and excellent English, presentation, communication, and computer skills. IWCF certification is highly regarded.
