About the role
Faststream is recruiting an Operational Excellence Manager for an established offshore marine organisation. The role will lead operational improvement, assurance, governance and risk management across shore-based and vessel operations within the ship management function. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the operational excellence strategy, supporting continuous improvement across marine, technical and QHSE activities, maintaining management systems and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with ISM and ISO standards, leading audit and assurance programmes, managing operational and technical risks, supporting incident investigations, developing KPIs and performance reporting, and coaching the operational excellence team. The position requires senior experience in Operational Excellence, QHSE, Marine Assurance or a similar role, with strong knowledge of marine operations, management systems, audit, assurance and risk management.
