An established global renewable energy advisory firm is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join its Technical Due Diligence team. The role combines environmental expertise with project management responsibilities across wind, solar, hydro, and battery energy storage projects. Responsibilities include delivering environmental assessments and due diligence reviews, managing multidisciplinary Technical Due Diligence assignments, reviewing project documentation, and contributing to advisory reports supporting investment and financing decisions. The successful candidate will work alongside electrical, civil, and environmental specialists. Requirements include a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; experience in renewable energy, environmental consulting, or project advisory; knowledge of environmental permitting, compliance, and risk management; strong report writing and stakeholder engagement skills; and the ability to manage multiple workstreams within multidisciplinary project teams. Highly desirable experience includes Technical Due Diligence, Lender's Technical Advisory, Independent Engineering, Owner's Engineering, or similar consulting roles, with exposure to wind, solar, hydro, or battery storage projects and understanding of project finance, construction risk assessment, and renewable energy project development.
