WTG Electrical Engineer for a major offshore wind farm in Scotland. Responsibilities include preparing electrical scope of works and client requirements for offshore turbine and foundation contracts, leading wind turbine electrical design review and approvals, front-end engineering design for turbine foundation electrical systems, managing electrical interfaces between turbine and foundation, and supporting electrical contract documentation for substation and balance of plant works. The role requires knowledge of HV and LV electrical systems, substation layout design, primary equipment specifications and testing up to 400kV, renewable electricity generation or transmission, engineering legislation, offshore construction requirements, permitting and environmental compliance, as well as commercial awareness and experience managing consultants, budgets, contracts, schedules and interfaces.
