Seeking a motivated and practical Trainee Marine Engineer Surveyor to join a marine surveying team based in Scotland’s Central Belt. The role involves draft surveys, supervision of liquid cargo discharges, attending vessels, conducting inspections, monitoring cargo operations, and preparing survey reports. This is a long-term career opportunity with structured on-the-job training. Candidates should have an interest in marine engineering, shipping or the maritime industry, a practical and methodical approach, strong communication and report-writing skills, and a relevant engineering or maritime qualification (EOOW as a minimum).
