RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a full-time, permanent Director, Stakeholder Engagement for the South Region in Austin, Texas. The role leads stakeholder and community engagement strategy and execution across development, construction, and operational projects in Texas, the Plains, and Southeast states, supporting onshore wind, solar, battery energy storage, and flex-gen projects. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder engagement managers, developing social risk mitigation programs, maintaining community relationships, monitoring local sentiment, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, supporting permitting and policy efforts, managing community benefit initiatives, and tracking social performance metrics. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of relevant community engagement or advocacy experience, management experience, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with renewable energy or infrastructure development, government relations, permitting, and Salesforce is preferred. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
