About the role
Troubleshooting on behalf of the client for offshore telecoms. Daily progress reporting once offshore. Participate in meetings and review contractor documentation such as WMS, RAMS, ITPs, and ITRs. Plan and manage telecom and SCADA-related punch items or remediation works. Oversee contractor telecom and SCADA commissioning, including witnessing and monitoring. Interface with commissioning and PFO-IT teams. Manage project spares such as network switches and fiber optic patch leads. Provide in-field project assistance for installation of temporary LTE in towers. Assist the PFO-IT team with network switch configuration and troubleshooting. Carry out signal testing during energization of WTGs and GIS. Support TETRA base station installation and integration. Pre-configure network switches in nacelles for onshore and offshore work.
