Navis Consulting is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to support delivery of designated shipbuilding projects in Vietnam. The role involves coordinating questions from production shipyards, managing drawing lists, liaising with team leaders and subcontractors, ensuring documentation is completed on time, resolving discrepancies, supporting design modifications, and responding to Bureau Veritas comments. Additional responsibilities include monitoring design-office work, ensuring compliance with ship specifications, regulations, and ISO procedures, tracking project progress, and reporting status to the Design Manager. Requirements include knowledge of shipbuilding regulations, especially French codes, a strong understanding of the ship design process, good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong communication skills. An engineering degree with at least 5 years' experience or a technician profile with more than 10 years' experience, including 5 years in a Design Department, is required. English and French at advanced level. Full expatriate package provided.
