The role involves vertical lay systems on subsea vessels, flexible riser handling, heavy lifts, subsea structures, constant tension tuggers, midline connections, bolt tensioning, and mobilisation/demobilisation scopes. Additional requirements include PTW systems, risk assessments and method statements, barge operations, management of change, and subcontractor supervision. Mandatory certification includes an OGUK medical, BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS, OPITO Rigging Assessment Level 3, and OPITO Banksman Assessment Level 3.
