Responsibilities include developing Loss Prevention philosophies, safety concepts, and fire protection design basis; preparing hazardous area classification, passive fire protection, and fire & gas detection documents; designing safety equipment layouts; performing hydraulic calculations for fire water networks and spray systems; preparing technical specifications and evaluations; reviewing vendor documentation; and coordinating HAZID, HAZOP, and safety studies.
