The role involves coordinating vessel activities, managing operational arrangements, monitoring schedules and performance, coordinating bunker requirements, reviewing operational invoices, assisting with cost management, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams, external partners, customers, and business stakeholders. A Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or a related discipline is required, along with relevant shipping or vessel operations experience. Tanker experience is preferred, and strong communication, interpersonal, adaptability, and problem-solving skills are important.
