RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a full-time, permanent Business Development Manager for its Flexible Generation business in Austin, Texas. The role supports business development for energy campus opportunities serving data center load customers, including gas-fired generation and related solar, wind, and battery storage assets. Responsibilities include building relationships across the energy and data center ecosystem, managing commercial progress from conception through term sheet and negotiations, researching market intelligence, maintaining relationships with utilities and other load-serving entities, increasing market visibility, and partnering with internal stakeholders on energy opportunities. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, at least 5 years of experience in the U.S. electric power sector or a related field, experience with a U.S. utility, IPP, hyperscaler/co-lo/neocloud, or data center developer, strong relationship-building and communication skills, knowledge of the U.S. power sector or data center market, and commercial negotiation experience preferred.
