Principal Metallurgy Engineer for an upcoming long-term contract project in Woking, UK. The role is office-based, 5 days per week, supporting a high-profile EPCM project for a major global operator in the oil and gas sector. Responsibilities include verifying FEED documentation, developing materials selection and corrosion control philosophies, preparing specifications and reports for above-ground installations and pipelines, reviewing vendor documents and technical bids, and supporting interdisciplinary coordination and reviews. The role requires strong experience in materials and corrosion engineering, with knowledge of cathodic protection, project documentation, and relevant international codes and standards. Familiarity with Aramco standards, AGI and pipeline material specifications, corrosion modelling, and coatings technologies is desirable.
