About the role
RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Year in Industry placement in Engineering Management, starting in July 2027. The role follows a hybrid model with three days per week onsite in Swindon, London, or Coventry, and the remainder from home. It focuses on offshore wind farm engineering activities, project management across the delivery lifecycle, coordination of technical interfaces, safety in design and operation, design and construction support, problem-solving, multidisciplinary optimisation, and risk management. Applicants should be studying an engineering or science-based discipline and eligible for a year-in-industry placement. Strong written and verbal communication, independent workload management, teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and willingness to travel within the UK are required. Offshore wind knowledge is advantageous. The role includes a Real Living Wage salary and professional training, including Global Wind Organisation certification and Wind Turbine Safety Rules training.
