Matroos bij Rijkswaterstaat. TOS works closely with Rijkswaterstaat and provides nautical staff for various vessels across the fleet. The role involves diverse tasks such as marking waterways, oil spill response, fisheries research, measurements, coast guard activities, ship maintenance, mooring and unmooring, retrieving and cleaning buoys, assisting boarding personnel, and fisheries/environmental inspections. The position is based in the Netherlands, with short assignments of up to 6 days and average working days of 12.5 hours. Compensation is according to the CAO Rijk, with an all-in gross hourly wage of €22.71 excluding allowances.
