About the role
Chief Officer required for a pipelay barge operating in the Caspian Sea. This is a long-term contract with a 35/35 rotation and immediate joining. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating the vessel’s 8-point spread mooring system, managing anchor handling tug supply vessels during anchor deployment, retrieval, and shifting operations, and coordinating local marine personnel. Requirements include 3+ years of experience as Chief Mate on an offshore pipelay vessel with an 8-point mooring system, Chief Mate COC, and STCW short courses. BOSIET and offshore certificates are required. Experience in the Caspian Sea area and knowledge of Ukraine and/or Russian are preferred.
