A safety training specialist is seeking a Safety Instructor in the Amsterdam area. The role involves delivering practical safety training, especially in Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Gasmeten, and SCBA, as well as guiding exercises at a modern training centre and on location. Additional responsibilities include developing and improving training programs, creating teaching materials, advising colleagues and clients on safety, monitoring training quality, optimizing work processes, and working with the Training Centre Manager to improve service delivery. The employer is an international organization active in safety training for the maritime sector, offshore, wind energy, industry, and emergency services. Candidates should have practical experience with Confined Space Entry, Gasmeten and/or SCBA, preferably from the maritime sector and ideally gained aboard tankers or cruise ships. Trainer or instructor experience is a plus, but not required. Strong communication skills, a coaching attitude, and good English are required; Dutch is an advantage. Salary is up to €4,500 gross per month depending on experience, with a direct contract and opportunities for further training and certification.
