About the role
ENERCON is seeking an Engineer Measurement Technology to support wind turbine rotor blade quality through the selection and development of measurement and testing methods, planning and evaluation of measurements, specification and commissioning of test equipment, failure analysis, and continuous improvement of test concepts, standards, and processes. The role also includes developing work and safety instructions, preparing measurement and test plans, conducting special measurements and tests, and defining tolerances and tooling requirements with design and manufacturing. Requirements include a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, Lightweight Engineering, or a comparable field; several years of experience in ultrasonic testing of fiber-reinforced composite components; desirable NDT certification such as ISO 9712 Level 2; practical experience in test planning and data analysis; and very good German and English skills.
