Year in Industry Electrical Engineering placement with RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. Full-time, fixed-term 12-month role starting in July 2027, based in Swindon with a hybrid arrangement. The placement offers practical insight into offshore wind electrical system design, including interfaces between transmission systems, onshore and offshore substations, wind turbine generators, HVAC and HVDC systems. Responsibilities include creating simulation models, analysing system behaviour and grid code compliance, supporting project lifecycle activities from development through operation, and contributing to a defined project. Applicants should be studying Electrical Engineering, eligible for a year in industry placement, and have strong communication, teamwork, organisation, and time-management skills. Travel to other sites may be required. Role may require National Security Vetting to SC level.
