Chief Engineer required to join an AHTS vessel built in 2003, 3450 GRT, with 4 Bergen B32:40L6P engines. The vessel trades in the UAE/Strait of Hormuz. The contract is 8 weeks on/off, with boarding after 20th of Sep and a salary of 700 EUR/day. Requirements include previous Chief Engineer experience on AHTS vessels, experience with Bergen engines, strong open-sea towing operations experience, valid STCW certificates, valid Liberian endorsement/certificates and Seaman’s Book preferred, good command of English, and willingness to operate in the Strait of Hormuz including conflict/high-risk area operations.
